Let’s turn earth into the “Green Planet”!
Posted by roushdat on October 15, 2007
Today we unite, 1 issue, voices from millions of people through thousands of blogs ; Our Environment!
Ever heard about a green planet? Ever wondered how earth would look like if it was green?
Let’s have a look:
Not bad uh?
Thinking about the environment, well, what happens if everybody agrees to stop pollution right now?
- First of all, you will shut down your computer! (using electricity…unless it is using a clean source of power)
- No more cars, lorries on the road. Traffic problems will be long forgotten one…(we don’t have traffic jam with bicycle, do we? unless we live in China)

- Most factories will be closed down causing millions of people to lose their job

- Let alone nuclear weapons, even the gun will be something of the past (we need factories for them right?). Wars will be fought on horse-backs and with spears, swords and arrows.

- We will stop cooking food with fire, cause this destroy our environment. We will use heat from the sun to try bake breads :p (and of course u can forget about pizza , kfc, mcdo…no fast food!)

- most of our clothes will be home-made from very nature-friendly materials like goat-skin and tree leaves.

- ……….ok people, you add more items now! What are the things that will change if ever everybody agrees to stop pollution completely!

@ Yash
Pu bizin coupe trees pu fer zournal. To pu diminuer ressources ki ena pu diminuer CO2
A pollution free environment in the days we are living right now, to tell you the truth, it’s impossible. Really, we won’t last a single day.
Cars, lorries on the roads, substitutes can be found both for the vehicle and the fuel used. Ethanol, is it an option? About traffic jam, you can have it even without cars…. Just imagine a million of bicycles on our roads.
Factories… As I’ve said before, substitutes have been found and are being experimented. You can’t close them, you’ll have a ruined country. What can be done is to increase their efficiency. Our current sugar factories are about 60% efficient. We still have machines dating from the 1960s or even before.
As for guns, do we need them? Do we need wars?
As far as I know, lighting a fire to cook your food hasn’t been seen as causing global warming in the ancient times. And, you have appliances the are environment friendly, and you can have electricity from a clean energy source. Problem solved?
Cotton is natural friendly materials. As far as I know, it’s a plant.
Most of your arguments are based on material comfort(your pc, fast food, clothes etc..) This just an egotistical way of seeing things, the same frame of mind that lead to this disastrous situation. I think people should be thinking more globally. About the consequences it’s having on the people. What do you do with all these if you have no country to live in?
Erm… what about campaigns to reconcile the anti pollution fights and sustainable development?
Really roushdat, if you want to be president, you should be thinking about those things…

@ yash…well, not even newspaper,mo pou faire meeting
alooo alooooooo :p
@ Morinn, hmm looking at green colour is beneficial to the vision (according to some experts, i need to confirm it though), bein sinon green faire nou rapel trees, forest and so on :p…moi mo pense caro cane (sugar cane fields)
@ Kevina, seems to ena 1 big problem with smelling :p lol, faire coment moi, most of the time mo enrumer :p Bein people pas obliger use perfumes na, they can enjoy a shower in waterfalls (as they will be surrounded by mother nature)
@ Bbzush, yep with millions of bicycle, we can have traffic jam, but am telling u just replace existing cars with bicycle (won’t this reduce traffic problems?)
As for guns, do we need them? Do we need wars?
As for wars, c’mon do u really think this world will ever be without war? (even within families we have misunderstandings leading to life-taking)
Cotton is natural friendly materials. As far as I know, it’s a plant.
Oh yeah cotton is just a plant friends…so next time u need some clothing from cotton, u plant a cotton tree, then u make your own cotton thread manually (like in boucle d’or?), after which, u make your cloth…no need for factories and zero pollution, right Bbzush? (when u complete ur clothing that way, let me know :p)
Most of your arguments are based on material comfort(your pc, fast food, clothes etc..) This just an egotistical way of seeing things, the same frame of mind that lead to this disastrous situation. I think people should be thinking more globally. About the consequences it’s having on the people.
Egoistical you are saying?
I choose these examples not because of me only, but rather because these things, most of us reading this blog, including YOU are familiar with! So that we, have a better understanding how life would have been. Do you want me to take an example like: Don’t fish using dynamites??? Fishermen don’t read this blog as far as i know :p
What do you do with all these if you have no country to live in?
If you have no country to live in, then where do u live, in space?
Erm… what about campaigns to reconcile the anti pollution fights and sustainable development?
Definitely, campaigns are to be encourages, and in a way that’s what we are doing.
Really Bbzush, if u have the hope that i will share presidency with u…lol reste atane mem
@ Cheryl, lolz nice pou nager avec sa bane alga la…
October 15, 2007 at 6:42 pm
@ Roushdat… M bien merde si t share to presidency ou pas…
About wars… Why do you think all these NGOs exist to mantain the peace in our world? You think these people have so much time on their hands that they just set up organisations for an ephemeral cause? This is not the discussion here… Let’s get back to guns. So, do you prefer having guns that kill people or have none at all…. and btw, I certainly don’t use any guns in my daily life, do you?
About the cotton cloth, why close the factories when you have substitute fuel? I wonder. And I certainly would prefer to damn well make my own clothing that use leaves. In the ancient times, they did it by hand, so why not now? Maybe it’ll take me months to finish one, but who cares? And btw, aren’t leaves seen as ‘provocative’ clothing here? Just asking huh…
And know what? I can live without my PC or fast food. It’s no big deal. I use it because I have it. That wouldn’t mean if I didn’t have it, I would die. Do you know what it means to walk side by side with time? I am familiar with these things, but i don’t find these important. And actually, i don’t think life would have been like that at all. Humans are intelligent, they would find other solutions in these cases, unless you don’t consider the human being as intelligent.
Oh, and if you have no country, you die. You don’t live in space or anything. it’s THE END.
Oh, them you mean showing things in such a foolish way is a campaign. You don’t care if you can make a difference, do you? ‘Cause you know, you won’t be able to. I know that do, but I don’t stop trying. You should really get out of you little world someday roushdat. Really, sometimes makes me sick when people think like that.
I’m in no way looking for a fight. I’m just expressing what I feel, unless, under your presidency, democracy is not accepted.

And you can delete the comment if you want. I don’t think you appreciate what I have to say. I don’t really care either. But do me a favour, read it first.

lol, feel free to express urself
October 15, 2007 at 10:18 pm
renewable * clean energies exist (to some point), we need to start killing industrialist that hides technologies and prevent progress in the right direction, then shall we get a clean environment, it is possible.
Second, we shall kill that ‘fleau’ called society, this is preventing us to do what i said above, society is bad, and was never meant to exist.
full stop, read my blog also for my views on this.

Yours to the end of time,
