Privacy & Technology : co-existence possible?
Posted by roushdat on March 29, 2008
Can someone have a private life today? I doubt it. Will it be possible in the future? No…Do we need privacy? depends on your way of life… i personally don’t need; do you?
As new technologies come into play…i think we can say bye to our privacy.
Curious as i am…i feel it will be nice to know more about others :p

It depends!
If your are referring to privacy on the web such as on google, then i believe im still safe. Because companies like google compiles data about how you use the web, habits and so on. They do not really give a damn about my personal information such as names etc.
To what extent you want to make YOUR life public. If i take your About page for example you have given enough personal information. you got a cool name by the way
I like your site MR the future President

lolz, thanks Adel. In fact, what google knows about your habit, is a lot more than many of us imagine. The data collected in itself may appear useless, but with advanced data mining, frightening stuffs can be derived. And if you start compiling data from various sources ; a little of nothing from everywhere can end up getting your whole life re-constructed virtually.
