Greetingz!
Some of you might already be aware that the muslim’s month of fasting (Ramadhan) is about to begin as from Monday (or Tuesday?) and will last for 30 days (i hope its 29…). For a brief about the muslims’ fasting, they are not allowed to consume food or water from before sunrise till sunset. At night they can eat or drink normally. And many people think that they should engulf a maximum of food in the early morning to be able to fast the whole day. This is absolutely not the case for most human beings :p As for me, i take only 1 weetabix with milk and drink half glass of water.
Also, fasting people tend to avoid the sight of food during the day so as not to remember their hunger :p Well well, these kind of people better avoid reading my blog during daytime during the incoming month because food will be all around
And i thought, let me do something special for the blog for the incoming 30 days (as from monday 1st september) : I will publish a daily post about how I intend to change the world when i become your trustworthy president
So guyz, see you all here on Monday :p

I used to think that Pascal Computer Services was a flourishing local company… What i didn’t know was that this company is struggling so much to survive competition, to the point that they have now resorted to spam mails for advertising! And when you mail them back, politely asking them to stop spamming you, guess what…they respond by spamming you even more!
And dont tell me it’s another spammer using pascal and advertising pascal’s training courses in IT :p
To all those getting sick from local companies sending spam, raise your keyboards :p

Got a mail today; was about the Blog Action Day whereby a day is chosen and bloggers across the world publish posts about a particular topic. And for this year, it’s poverty.
For more info about this Blog Action Day, check it out @ BlogActionDay.org
Anyway, while waiting for that day (15th of October 2008), i started thinking a bit about my own perception of poverty. The first thing that comes to my mind: Poverty== No Money
And I am pretty sure, many among you thinks alike. That is, if you have loads of money, you are rich! On the contrary, having no or little money, implies poverty. But this simple logic leads us to the very debatable issue about “money is everything”, which personally I disagree. But if i disagree with this, then how come I think that poverty is an outcome resulting from the lack of money? Most probably i am proving myself wrong!
I feel that we should try look at poverty in a different way. Educate the new generations about the real richness and poverty of this world. Having no money does not mean you are poor and samewise , loads of it does not make you a rich man.
Rich are those who can understand others, are able to help others and who know the secrets of living a happy life. The poorest are the selfish ones from among us and the illiterates. By illiterates, by no means do i refer to those having no education but rather those people who are educated but do not know how to make good use of it. There are people out there who never have been on a school bench, but yet, these same people are far better human beings than some degree holders. And we dare refer to them as poor? They may be wearing no clothing and we think this is because they are poor…but perhaps, perhaps this is because their hearts are pure, they have nothing to hide unlike us, who wear suits to hide our selfishness.
So are you rich or poor?

Warmest greetingz everybody :p So winter is almost gone…and summer is right behind the door now :p As for me, I’m currently working as a trainee system developer for a company located at Candos. Well well, still trying to this new way of life where you wake up, go to work, back home at night, sleep…loop until there’s something new uh
Most of my friends having almost the same age are now working…some since a few years after HSC itself, some after completing their first degree…and a few others who will be completing theirs next year. What we are not witnessing is a gradual change of generation, with my generation (generation Y) infiltrating into the world of the elders :p
check this out to learn more about generation Y: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generation_Y
We will soon be everywhere! Engineers, Developers, Doctors, Bankers,….Robbers….
I saw on the news paper today, a picture of my college classmate on the front page, son of a high level police officer, he’s being accused of being the mastermind behind the recent bank fraud :p And when I say that i will be your future world president, some of you think that I’m joking…Open your eyes :p See for yourself what’s happening around
I wonder who’s picture, friend of mine will be on the front cover of news papers next :p Will that be you?
And what about generation Z….(and after Z ???)
