Split between two times, I don’t know which to use. Should I use Mauritian time to wish happy new year or the UK time. If both, then I will be somehow celebrating new year twice in the same year. I therefor add this to my presidential agenda: Regional Times will be abolised and we will be using on 1 universal time everywhere!
2008 in brief:
June: completed BSc Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Mauritius with 1st class
June: Joined Front Lab Ltd as Assistant Web Developer
August: Applied and obtained Postgraduate State Scholarship from the Government of Mauritius
September: Left Front Lab because of the scholarship (the company closed 3 weeks after my departure)
September: Came to UK for MSc Web Technology course at the University of Southampton
December: I am still in southampton
2009
As from January: Change of blogging style
9 January 2009: My Birthday
And there is no official resolution for new year since I make them on a daily basis (very dynamic and adaptive…)
I wish all of you a happy new year 2009. I have unfornately not been able to reply or send wishes individually to all of you but you guyz should know that my thoughts are still with you. God bless us all with a president like me to hasten world peace and unity.
Best Regards,
Roushdat Elaheebocus,
Future World President.

Ok I have to work on that topic…and I thought that maybe i can grab some interesting ideas from you people.
Some open questions:
Are there existing research work on this?
What have been proposed so far?
What’s good and bad about these?
Compare the different approaches
Determine strong and weak points of each
What direction seems more promising?
Are there some under-explored areas? Why is that so? What can we expect?

Anyways, i’ll be publishing university pictures and clips soon, just two of them for the time being. On the right is the famous new Mountbatten Building which is a four-storey concrete-framed with transparent glasses building built at the site of the old Mountbatten which burnt down 3 years ago.Cost of new building: £55M only… More about it: http://www.ecs.soton.ac.uk/about/mountbatten.php
