Happy birthday to me!

23 years already…What a wonderful life!

I wish to thank God , my family, friends , relatives and all those who have wished me good intentionally or unintentionally . Those who know they know that i know that they know that i will never forget my people

University resume…did it pause?

Greetingz my people! Today was a special day, just like every other day; university lectures resumed after christmas vacation. However the hardwork never paused even during christmas! For instance, your president was busy writing reports during the holidays. An official trip to London and Wickford was scheduled in December but had to be postponed for the end of January .

As for today’s lecture, with a duration of 45mins, it was delivered in the afternoon. Since the campus is a 20 minutes walk from home and we would have to wait for 18 minutes to catch a bus, the decision was taken to walk. Unsurprisingly, destination was reached within 15 minutes (for those who are unaware, the president walks a little less slowly than the average people).

Summing it up, the first day was a pretty normal day: Nothing good, bad or funny. The year 2009, full of challenges,  sounds promising though! Finally I would like to highlight for those who have not noticed at the top left corner of this blog, the presidential twitter feed can be read. Milk Series: No milk for the president :S

Hello world. This morning, the future president woke up and went to prepare his breakfast…(Yes, like the common people, there is nobody to serve him breakfast in bed). To his surprise, milk has ran out of stock from the fridge :S Is that another machiavellic plan by the evilians (the villains whose sole purpose is to sabotage the presidential mission on the planet). Might be they want to keep the president away from milk to reduce his calcium level and be able to break his bone better? Or it is possible that the president being too busy with the thousands of worldly tasks for his people might have simply forgotten to renew milk stock !

For the record, price of fresh milk in Southampton-UK varies from £1.06 to £1.60 for 2 Liters and I have not come across the powdered milk we have in Mauritius although some people have told me it is available. Of course since your president does not like wasting money, he purchases the cheapest and consumes 2 Liters every 5 days.

As for the presidential breakfast, nothing special: 2 weetabix cereal biscuits + 0.4 L of milk + 1 banana (1 banana a day keeps the president happy :p) + some additional rice-cereals from time to time

Since there was no milk today, it was temporarily replaced by fruit juice and the weetabix biscuits were eaten…as biscuits!

Normal breakfast time: 15 minutes including preparations.

As you can see, even the future president can run out of basic commodities at times. We simply have to look for alternatives and adapt! There is another alternative for juice which i discussed on September 2007, click here to check it out.

Greetingz Mauritius, Southampton and the whole planet earth (i really think that this name should be changed…). This is your future president speaking writing typing as you may already be aware

Tell you what, this morning I woke up and it was already january 1st 2009, can you imagined ? Almost 23 years + 9 months that i have been living on this planet and yet i remember my first days as if it was yesterday. The planet had already been nuclear bombed some 40 years before my birth and it was yet to witness another nuclear disaster : one of Chernobyl’s nuclear plant’s reactor explodes 3 months later. Earth had many bad surprises caused by humans forthcoming: Wars, Drugs, Ozone Depletion and many more. Someone was needed to save the world, someone who could unite mankind somehow and create the future, a future that our children will be proud of. That was the reason why i have been sent down here.

Why have i not saved the planet yet? Well you know…there is always the good and the bad. Like in all movies situations, the vilains have actively worked to sabbotage my mission. That’s the reason why I have been living in a small island in the middle of the Indian Ocean protected for 23 years by an army of invisible creatures.

Now the time has come, the little bird has left the nest! It is no coincidence that I am in Europe in one of its leading research university refining my knowledge and learning about Chinese culture (the future world’s leading super-power)
