My quest for world presidency

Back to base, I am in Mauritius

Posted by roushdat on September 28, 2009

Hello everybody!
I returned to Mauritius this weekend after a one year tour in UK for my MSc. It was an enriching experience. So for the time being as stated in my previous entry, I will be granting myself some holidays. And will make an effort to blog and share some interesting aspects of my UK trip.
To people who compare students who have attended a local university in Mauritius with those who have studied abroad, I say: While studying abroad does provide you with more opportunities to develop your different skills and in some way force you to be more independent, the most important player is the individual himself/herself. All these can be achieved in Mauritius as well, it is all in our minds and hands. Thus people should not use this ’study abroad/study locally’ to taunt those who do not have the means to pay for big universities and it should not be used as an excuse to justify the immaturity of some young people either…It is all about us and how we choose to be.

And I would like to add “Those who study abroad usually have one advantage : ZOTTE KONE CUIT!”

Isnt it true Mr The President?
btw, did you meet the other presidents there?

@yashvin, lol, i have come across some students who did not know how to cook as well…some of them did manage to learn some basics while a handful just bought their food.
hmm haven’t come across anyone as ambitious as I am over there ;)

@anii thanks ;) I’ll be down at ebene soon (so that you guys can welcome me better since you work now :D )
